Funded in 1972 by Jean Girard, Chambord Prestige is now a leader on the caterer market in the Paris area and the Loire Valley. In 1970, Jean Girard settled down in Bourré, at the south of Blois, by taking back a stalled butchery, waiting the of the family’s butchery recovery. After having been graduated in the meat business National School, he decides to launched in cooked dishes and begins the catering business. His success was instant, so he exanted his catchment area all over the Loire Valley by becoming the major provider of the most beautiful weddings in the region and private events. Jean Girard and his team become a pioneer in France in the development of this new activity sector : caterer, receptions organizer. The company will be in the ten most importants french caterers.
In 1992, Jean Girard inaugurated the lab in La Chaussée Saint Victor with a production and a refrigerated storage areas of 1000m2, 200m2 of offices, and dry storage of 500m2. In 1998, Chambered Prestige creates the «Les cuisiniers Traiteurs » brand dedicated to fresh dishes distribution.
Two years later, in 2000, it’s the launch of new range of Bio buffet, with the « Racine » concept.
In 2004, Chambord Prestige took the decision to be exclusively dedicated to the caterer, reception organizer.
In 2007, the company joined the « Traiteurs de France » association, and received its Qualitraiteur certification in 2008.
In 2014, Chambord Prestige established its Carbon Footprint and became a business driver in reducing its emissions of greenhouse.
Since 2013, the company is lead by Eric blondeau, joined in 2015 by Martial Gicquel
